Physiotherapy is a health profession, concerned with maximising potential human function and movement.
Physiotherapists treat people with a broad range of conditions using predominately physical means, for example, manual therapy, electro-physical agents and exercise prescription. From birth right through to full adulthood, physiotherapists help all kinds of people function and move better.
At Riseley we specialise in back pain. To achieve this we employ physiotherapists with post graduate qualifications and experience in musculoskeletal phyisiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, clinical acupuncture, pelvic floor dysfunction, clinical pilates and exercise rehabilitation. You can rest assured that you are always in good hands.
From acute injury through to rehabilitation and prevention, we have the physiotherapists with the skills, knowledge and equipment for a better you.
- Physiotherapists complete a four year undergraduate or a two year graduate entry master's physiotherapy degree.
- Senior Physiotherapists complete a physiotherapy degree and a one year Masters Degree in a special field, such as musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy and women's health and continence physiotherapy.
- Specialist Physiotherapists complete a physiotherapy degree, a one year Masters Degree in a special field and undergo a two year specialist training program and exams to be admitted as a Fellow into the Australian College of Physiotherapy.

Our physiotherapists are registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and uphold the standards of the Board and conduct themselves in line with the codes and guidelines.
