Riseley Physiotherapy Pty Ltd recognises the value of sport and physical activity in building the health of a community.  To facilitate such activities amongst the same community that provides Riseley Physiotherapy with its custom, the Company is making available six monetary grants of $1,000 per year.

The program is a rolling program and applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year. Two rounds of Grant provision will occur each year.  Outcomes will be provided as follows:

Selection Criteria

The Riseley Physiotherapy Activity Grants’ aim is to improve opportunities for the people of the local community to participate in sport and physical activity by providing financial assistance for projects that increase or maintain the number of participants; improve the quality or safety of participation; and/or improve the range of access to participation opportunities.

Applications will be considered from groups and individuals.

Preference will be given to applications that benefit people who reside within the City of Melville boundaries, or within close proximity; projects that introduce and encourage physical activity to previously sedentary groups; and projects that improve the performance and skill of the physical activity

Funding will not be provided for

  • For-profit businesses or government bodies

  • Activities, projects or programs which seek to make a financial profit.

  • Recurrent operating or maintenance costs for the day to day operations;

  • Salaries where the salary forms part of the organizations or individuals usual responsibility;

  • Projects that have already commenced or been completed or for costs that have already been incurred.

  • Activities, projects and programs which have received Activity Grant funding during the past twelve months, unless such funding is for a significantly new and different activity;

Successful grant recipients must

  • Agree to acknowledge the financial assistance of Riseley Physiotherapy by placing the Riseley Physiotherapy logo (supplied by the Company) on any relevant promotion/fliers/stationery, etc.

  • Undertake joint media promotion with Riseley Physiotherapy.

  • Agree to provide a report and details on the acquittal of the funds (on the relevant form provided).

All applications for the Riseley Physiotherapy Activity Grants are to occur via the Application form available below.
